Yoga Soleil is a unique center for yoga and related studies, offering a wide range of classes, workshops and events for all levels of yoga practitioners. It is all very simple – we believe the 5000+ year old idea that a conscious yoga practice can transform individuals both physically and spiritually. Yoga can open our hearts and help us make choices that contribute to the freedom and happiness of all beings. Yoga Soleil teachers are committed to bringing the practice of yoga to the student in both an authentic and accessible way.
Our goal is to serve our community by sharing yoga, encouraging greater physical health and fulfilled spirits.
Upcoming Events:
Restorative Yoga ~ Discovery and Practice, Saturday April 28th, 1 to 3pm. This workshop will explain what Restorative Yoga is, talk about the risks and benefits, and introduce a number of postures that students can do at home. Students will: learn to become comfortable with multiple props; get familiar with how to set up each pose; learn options for using furniture and blankets at home to set up their poses; and learn to feel signs of discomfort in their own body and what to do to make themselves comfortable. Following this discovery process, students will be treated to a Restorative Yoga class which will include a short Yoga Nidra session. Developing a Home Practice. Saturday, May 12th. With the approach of summer, you might want to consider developing a personal yoga practice. Take your yoga to the park, the beach or on holiday. Join Anne to understand the basics of sequencing, learn to recognize what your body needs on a particular day, find out how yoga can meet your needs day by day and moment by moment, and how it can bring balance into your life away from the studio. A series of 5 Ayurveda Workshops with Doctor Dhaval Dhru, retired E.N.T. surgeon and ayurvedic practitioner.
